General Plan
My general plan for my bat experiment first i will find all different bat angles on a baseball bat to do the experiment. I will need to buy a whole lot baseball to be able to do the experiment. I will also need a sling shot type ting to make all the speeds of the bats go the same speeds so that the data wont be different for ranges. I will need a rope on the ground to show the distances on the ground and mark it. I will need a big area like a baseball field or football field etc. I will keep changing the angle of to do the data that i need to collect. After I do one bat I will change the bat and see where it landed on the rope and see how far it went. I will be recording my data on and then i will move it to a computer. I will most likely use 1 bats for collecting my data properly.
After i am done measuring the certain position or per trials i use on angle

Background Research:
Depending on the speed of the bat or the speed of the ball depends on how far the ball goes. but if you get a better rotation and more off a all around swing the ball will get hit harder and go farther. so I will have to make or maybe find a machine that can swing the bat at the same speeds but depending on the mass of the bat the spring on the machine will have to be stronger for each separate bat.The different places on the bat i will be measuring are the handle, sweet spot and the end of the bat. By watching pro baseball i think that the ball will got farther when you hit it with the sweet spot.
I think this because the center of the bat is most likely the area where the ball goes farther because it is the most powerful and strongest place of the bat.
I am going to be using a wooden bat for this experiment and i will be hoping that the bat will not weekend down as i use alt least enough to change the data a lot. Many big home run hitters hit there home runs with the sweet spot hit which is the middle of the bat.
Prince Fielder on the Detroit tigers is a hug hitter he hit baseballs like there is no tomorrow and they have seen with modern day tech that most of princes hits are hit from the sweet spot because of how excellent he is of tracking the ball. He knows where he hits the ball how to change where it goes and where he is hitting the ball on the bat.
If you hit the ball of the handle of the bat and you hit the ball 1/100 of a second to early then it will go fowl when you hit the ball at the handle it has to hit the ball right at the middle of your swing to be able to go fair and not to fowl territory. But it you hit the ball in the middle of your swing and it hits your sweet spot then you will be more likely to hit a home run.

I came up to the Conclusion that the best position to hit the ball with on the bat is the sweet spot middle of the bat and at the center of your swing is where it will go the farthest. My hypothesis was correct a came got it right that the sweet spot hits the ball the farthest.
Discussion
My reason for my experiment is to tell baseball players where they should try to hit the ball with the bat and at what time they want to hit. And if you are a good home run hitter then here is a way to know how to hit even more home runs and weather to go with my experiment or not.it could be improved by having more data or even using more machines to get the accurate data I needed.
Benefit to Community and/or Science
That it is showing the community how they should hit the baseball with the bat mostly this goes towards children. It also could help science to have a focus on this type of position on the bat if they are studying it.

I learned from my background research that the ball goes farther if you hit it with the sweet spot at the center of your swing to get most out field or home run hits. But if hit the ball on the end of the bat or the handle and it isn't at the center of your swing then the ball will most likely go fowl or will not go far into the infield or outfield.
